Former Irish U-21 international Brian O'Callaghan is due on Leeside today to sign for defending champions Cork City.
Pending a medical, the Limerick man will ink a deal with Damien Richardson's side until the end of this season but says he would like to stay on longer.
O'Callaghan was let go by Notts County in June despite making over 30 appearances in defence last season.
The 25 year old, who signed with Notts County from Barnsley, is also expected to complete his Champions League registration today.
He said: 'I am looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead with Cork City as they are one of the top sides in Ireland.'
