Robinho has defended Brazil's slow start to the World Cup and vowed their performances will improve as the tournament progresses.
The Real Madrid striker believes results rather than free-flowing football are more important in the group stage after narrow wins over Croatia and Australia prompted criticism from sections of the media back in South America.
But with qualification to the last 16 already secured, Robinho is confident Brazil will grow in stature and confidence as they strive to win the World Cup for a sixth time.
'They only criticise us because they are used to winning and playing well but it's not always possible,' admitted Robinho.
'Sometimes it is important just to win. It would be worse if we played well but didn't win. What is important is qualification.
'We want to win by playing well, that's our goal.'
Coach Carlos Alberto Parreira is expected to ring the changes for Brazil's final group match against Japan in Dortmund on Friday with Robinho poised to start at the expense of Madrid team-mate Ronaldo - booked in the 2-0 win over Australia on Sunday.
He added: 'If the coach picks me up, I'm ready. If not, I'll be on the bench as a supporter.'
