Argentina defender Roberto Ayala believes there will be much more to come from Serbia & Montenegro when the two nations meet in Gelsenkirchen on Friday.

The Serbo-Montenegrins were beaten 1-0 by Holland in their opening game and then lost defender Nemanja Vidic to injury.
But veteran centre-half Ayala warned: 'Serbia & Montenegro are a team that played below their capabilities.

'They have good players and that defeat will motivate them to go forward more, looking for a good result.

'They must be taken into account, and we must be careful and play our football against them.'

The Valencia defender expects to be kept on his toes, despite the opposition losing Mirko Vucinic.

'(Savo) Milosevic and (Mateja) Kezman are two forwards that complement each other very well,' he added. 'When they attack through the channels they become stronger and we must control that.

'We have to see what character they will have because it's obvious they have some problems. But when the time comes to play the game your character will usually be the same as for any other game.'
