Juventus striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes Sweden should maintain a positive mindset ahead of the Group B matches against Paraguay on Thursday and England on June 20.
Ibrahimovic was left frustrated after they had to settle for a point against World Cup newcomers Trinidad and Tobago.
But he said: 'We are still alive with two games to play and nothing is decided. We will not let our heads drop. We just could not put the ball in the net and that was the difference.
'The Trinidad goalkeeper (Shaka Hislop) had a wonderful match and really their whole team played the games of their lives. That's football and if you do not take your chances you are not going to win. Now we know what went wrong and we will try to correct it.'
Sweden captain Olof Mellberg is aiming to get six points from the next two games. 'By getting a draw in this first game we will have to double our efforts,' said the Aston Villa defender.
'We need to try to get maximum points from our next two matches. It will not be easy but we are hopeful. We created more chances than Trinidad, kept the ball more but for some reason it did not want to go into the net for us.'
Ibrahimovic and former Celtic striker Henrik Larsson worked hard to make the breakthrough but Trinidad held firm.
Howevever substitute Marcus Allback should have sealed victory late on, only to squander a couple of good chances.
Coach Lars Lagerback admits they are in a difficult position after a stuttering start. He said: 'We are in a bit of a tough spot and we will need a win and a draw in our next games at least.
'We have to restart our engines and overcome this opening setback. I cannot really come up with an explanation for what happened. I thought the players on the whole did okay and we controlled the game.
'We played well but we could not score. We were not sharp enough in front of goal but we have no one to blame but ourselves.'
