Limerick FC have appointed their goalkeeper Noel Mooney as their new Commercial Director.
Mooney's appointment is aimed at boosting the off field profile of the eircom First Division leaders.
The Cappamore native said: 'Limerick is a great sporting city and county. Limerick needs its hurling and football teams challenging for All-Ireland titles.
'It is great, for example, to see the progress that the Gaelic footballers have made in recent years, but it is time to bridge the gap and actually bring titles home to Shannonside.'
The Blues are currently in talks with a number of companies regarding kit sponsorship and once this is finalised, the new kit shall go to press.
