Germany defender Robert Huth has pleaded for more time before making up his mind on a potential move to Middlesbrough.
Boro have reportedly reached an agreement with Chelsea over a transfer, but the 21-year-old is playing a waiting game.
'It is true I have spoken to them (Boro) about details but I haven't signed anything yet,' Huth told PA Sport after Germany's 4-2 win over Costa Rica in Friday's World Cup curtain-raiser.
'I honestly can't tell you when I will make the decision. It has to come from the heart and obviously from the brain as well.
'Could be now, could be tomorrow, could be anytime soon.'
One thing is for sure - Huth will not be back at Stamford Bridge.
'It is time for me to move on in football,' he added. 'With Chelsea I have had a good time.
'I have been there three years and didn't get much of a chance, even though sometimes I felt I deserved to play. I didn't get a chance and now it is time to go.'
Huth admitted he would love to play for newly-appointed Boro boss Gareth Southgate.
'Southgate used to be great defender,' said Huth. 'If I decided to join them, I will hopefully learn a lot from him.'
The imposing centre-back enjoyed Germany's World Cup opener in Munich, the 4-2 win over Costa Rica, even though he did not play.
'We scored four goals, which doesn't happen very often in an opening game, so that is great,' he said.
'We will try to get better in the next days. It is great to have the whole nation behind you.'
