Ivory Coast coach Henri Michel believes his side's 1-1 friendly draw with Switzerland augurs well for the World Cup.
The African side are heading for their first World Cup and Michel has been encouraged by their performance which saw Emerse Fae equalise early in the second half after Tranquillo Barnetta had opened the scoring for the Swiss.
Michel said: 'They (Switzerland) let us play football and like them we needed a high quality match.
'This is a good base to build from for us and I would imagine the same would apply to them. Switzerland and ourselves are just starting our preparation and we have two weeks to get the details right.'
