"It’s a nice end to what has turned out to be a disappointing season in general," said Bangor skipper David White of the reigning LSL champions having lost their crown by finishing fourth in the Senior Division table.
"It’s a tough draw, though nice to test ourselves against a full-time team, especially so with them having Jason Byrne, an Irish international in their ranks."
"They are decent enough and try to pass the ball," said Shels boss Pat Fenlon, who remains without the injured Jamie Harris, Jim Crawford and Greg O’Halloran.
"If we play to our potential we should be all right. But we’ve got to do that from the start."
