Soccer legend Pelé will appear as Pat Kenny's special guest on this Friday's Late Late Show.
Pelé - whose autobiography has just been published – holds the world record for hat tricks (92), as well as the record for the number of goals scored at international level (97).
Pelé - who played in four World Cups with Brazil - stunned the world when he
scored two goals in his first World Cup game, helping Brazil to win its first World Cup 5-2 over Sweden in 1958.
In 1993, Pelé was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in Brazil. He has done extensive work for children's causes through UNICEF, and in 2000 came second only to Muhammad Ali for the 'Sportsman of the Century' award.
Pele will be signing his new book at Easons O'Connell St this Saturday at 11.30am.
