Republic of Ireland Under-21 Manager Don Givens has made four changes to his squad for the double fixture against  Azerbaijan on May 11 and 18.

Out through injury are Paul McShane (hernia), Glenn Whelan (hernia), Colin Doyle (knee) and Stephen Ireland (achilles) while Stephen Bradley (Drogheda United), Rene Gilmartin (Walsall), Keith Keane (Luton Town) and Richard Keogh (Bristol City) have been called up as replacements.

Republic of Ireland Under 21s play Azerbaijan in the away leg on Thursday May 11 at 1800h local time in Baku while the return leg will take place in Buckley Park, Kilkenny on May 18, kickoff 7.30pm
