Cork City boss Damien Richardson will wait to the last minute to decide on his star midfielder George O’Callaghan’s fitness before naming his side for tonight’s Setanta Sports Cup Final against Drogheda United at Tolka Park.

O’Callaghan has been bathing his ankle in sea water in a bid to overcome his injury. He will face a fitness test prior to kick off.

Top scorer John O’Flynn also faces a test before kick off but looks like he will get over a hamstring strain while winger Roy O’Donovan returns from suspension.

Billy Woods is fit again along with goalkeeper Michael Devine, giving Richardson a major decision to make after the latter’s deputy Mark McNulty has done so well over the last few games.

Drogheda have Keith Fahey and Declan O’Brien fully fit while Mark Leech (knee) is a slight doubt, leaving Shane Barrett (ankle) their only absentee.

There will be live coverage on RTÉ Radio One MW 567 KHz and LW 252. Presenting the show live from Tolka Park is Adrian Eames.

Match commentators are Gabriel Egan and Eoin Hand, panelists are St Patrick’s Athletic manager Johnny McDonnell and Shelbourne midfielder (and former Cork City player) Greg O’Halloran while Gavin Jennings will be keeping an eye on developments from pitchside.
