Craig Bellamy has been passed fit to play at St Andrews tomorrow

Martin Taylor will continue to deputise in the Birmingham defence for tomorrow's Barclays Premiership clash at St Andrews against Blackburn with Matthew Upson undergoing surgery on Wednesday on his ruptured Achilles.

Midfielder David Dunn is ruled out following the latest of many setbacks with the calf injury suffered during the first half of the 3-1 defeat at Aston Villa on Sunday.

Muzzy Izzet is the likely contender to replace Dunn after being on the bench against David O'Leary's side.

Blues boss Steve Bruce is hoping that eight-goal leading scorer Jiri Jarosik will have recovered from a hamstring injury sustained in training before the derby.

Blackburn striker Craig Bellamy will be fit after receiving a kick on the back of a thigh from Jamie Carragher that required treatment on the pitch during Sunday's 1-0 Ewood Park defeat to Liverpool.

Although Mark Hughes has no other injury worries, he has suggested a few changes may be made, which could see a start for Florent Sinama Pongolle as the striker was ineligible to play against his former club.

Birmingham City squad: Maik Taylor, Tebily, Martin Taylor, Cunningham, Sadler, Pennant, Johnson, Butt, Izzet, Lazaridis, Heskey, Forssell, Sutton, Vaesen, Bruce, Melchiot, Campbell, Jarosik.

Blackburn Rovers squad: Friedel, Enckelman, Neill, Nelsen, Pedersen, Reid, Gray, Savage, Todd, Khizanishvili, Bentley, Kuqi, Emerton, Dickov, Bellamy, Mokoena, Matteo, Peter, Sinama Pongolle.
