Paul Keegan is making a habit out of getting late goals and he did it again with the winner for Drogheda United against St Patrick's Athletic to give the high-flying Drogs a 1-0 victory.
Keegan's goal - scored three minutes from time - was superb, a great solo effort which was matched by a fine finish from a tight angle.
And it means Drogheda stay top of the eircom League. Keegan, by the way, got the winner last week as well against Bray.
This match followed a similar pattern to that one. Pat's were the better side in the first half and their Paul Keegan had a goal disallowed on 37 minutes.
From a corner, taken by Alan Reilly, two minutes before the break, Pat's again came close - with Trevor Molloy, this time, guiding his header narrowly wide.
Drogheda improved after the break. Before Keegan's goal, Shane Robinson and Shane Barrett went close.
Robinson's free kick was a cracker - and Barry Ryan's save from just as impressive.
Barrett, after combining with Declan O'Brien, raced clear of the Pat's defence but left himself with too tight an angle.
That fear must have crossed Keegan's mind too as he went round Ryan. But he kept his composure. And Drogheda kept their lead in the League standings.
