Celtic went 16 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premier League with a 3-0 victory at home to Aberdeen.
Second-half goals from Stilian Petrov, Shaun Maloney and Maciej Zurawski gave Gordon Strachan's side the win to stretch their lead over second-placed Hearts who travel to Livingston tomorrow.
Celtic dominated from the kick-off and only great goalkeeping from Aberdeen's Jamie Langfield kept his side in game.
First he dived full-length to save from Polish striker Zurawski in the 10th minute, and then a minute later dived to his left to block a Roy Keane effort.
Langfield was again called into action in the 19th minute when he blocked from Petrov, who found had the ball at his feet six-yards from goal when Keane's cross was deflected into his path.
Scott Severin had Aberdeen's first effort on goal in the 20th minute but his shot from 25-yards was straight at Celtic's keeper Artur Boruc.
The home side continued pushing forward, however, and John Hartson should have put them ahead when Zurawski's shot was deflected into his path, but the Welsh striker's shot was straight at Langfield.
Aberdeen were forced to make a change in the 32nd minute, when Barry Nicholson was injured after a crunching challenge from Keane, and Richard Foster came on in his place.
Keane was next to come close for Celtic in the 41st minute when he drove a long-range effort just over.
Into the second-half Celtic could not continue to dominate the match in the same way and the Dons started to cause real problems for the first time of the match.
In the 61st minute Severin cut in from the left-wing to go through one-on-one with Boruc but the Polish keeper raced off his line to make a brave block.
Strachan decided a change was needed to try and make the breakthrough and in the 62nd minute he replaced Hartson with Shunsuke Nakamura.
The Japanese playmaker almost scored with his first touch, with a shot from 16-yards which required Langfield to save at his near post.
But in the 66th minute Celtic did open the scoring. Zurawski found space on the right-wing, looked up and picked out Petrov in space on the edge of the 18-yard box and the Bulgarian rifled a first-time shot into the roof of the net.
And nine minutes later Maloney doubled the Parkhead side's lead. Keane fired the ball across the face of goal which Aberdeen defender Chris Clark could only deflect towards the 23-year-old Celtic forward and he buried it low past Langfield from close range.
With the match moving into injury time Petrov was sent clean through on goal by Keane and the Bulgarian unselfishly passed to Zurawski and he completed the simple task of firing into the empty net.
In other games, third-placed Rangers were 2-1 winners away to Falkirk with Kris Boyd and an own goal from Mark Twaddle giving them all three points, after Trinidad and Tobago's Russell Latapy had briefly levelled.
Hibernian stayed one point behind Rangers with a 3-1 win at home to Dundee United.
First-half strikes from Derek Riordan, an own goal from United's Alan Archibald and then New Zealand striker Chris Killen put Hibs three up by the break. David Goodwilly scored a late consolation for the visitors.
Richie Foran's second-half penalty gave Motherwell a 1-0 win away to Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
And Kilmarnock were 1-0 winners at home to Dunfermline with Australian midfielder Danny Invincibile scoring early in the first-half.
