Garry O'Connor has been given permission to leave the Scotland camp to negotiate a lucrative move to Lokomotiv Moscow.
The Hibernian striker, 22, was part of Walter Smith's squad to take part in the friendly international with Switzerland at Hampden tomorrow night.
But he checked out of Scotland's Loch Lomond base last night to meet with officials from the Russian club, after they offered Hibs a fee reported to be in the region of £1.6million.
Smith told the Daily Record: "We have given Garry permission to leave the squad. After all, this is a friendly we are playing and his footballing future is at stake so I am happy to let him go and sort it out."
