Arsene Wenger has played down reports linking Ashley Cole with a summer move to Real Madrid and he is convinced the England defender is fully committed to the Gunners.
Cole was involved in a controversial transfer wrangle last term involving Chelsea but put all the problems behind him by signing a contract extension in the summer.
The defender's season has been wrecked by injuries and he is still well short of peak fitness. This has not stopped the rumour mill from swinging into action, with reports going as far as to suggest Real had already struck a deal to sign Cole.
