Birmingham City midfielder Damien Johnson has made a claim for wrongful dismissal against his red card at Anfield last night.
Johnson was shown sent off for serious foul play during Birmingham's 1-1 draw against Liverpool in the Barclays Premiership.
Referee Uriah Rennie produced an straight red for a tackle on Daniel Agger which caught the Liverpool debutant on the knee.
His claim will be heard by a disciplinary commission on Friday.
