Manchester United have dismissed suggestions they could look to attract a lucrative new shirt sponsorship deal by also including stadium naming rights in a dual package.
Arsenal have helped fund their new 60,000-seater ground with a similar arrangement involving Emirates Airlines.
And speculation has been rife that United could go down the same route ever since American tycoon Malcolm Glazer took control of the club.
However, commercial director Andy Anson told Sky Sports News: "Old Trafford will always be Old Trafford, we are not going to do a naming rights deal.
"We are going to find a great shirt sponsor who is going to be a partner on that level and there are plenty of exciting opportunities."
It was announced yesterday that Vodafone was ending its sponsorship deal with the Premiership outfit early.
