Bryan Robson has to plan for the visit of Everton without veteran captain Kevin Campbell

West Bromwich Albion’s veteran captain Kevin Campbell will be denied the chance to face former club Everton because of the recurrence of an ankle injury.

However, manager Bryan Robson has plenty of other attacking options for tomorrow evening's home match, in the form of Geoff Horsfield, Kanu, Nathan Ellington, Robert Earnshaw and Diomansy Kamara.

Midfielder Zoltan Gera is ruled out after a hernia operation while left-back Paul Robinson is still suspended.

Tomasz Kuszczak will again deputise in goal for Chris Kirkland, who is back in training after recovering from a badly bruised kidney.

Everton will give their World Cup hero Tim Cahill a late fitness test on a groin injury before deciding on their side.

Cahill only arrived back on Merseyside this afternoon after his part in Australia's qualification for the World Cup finals, having flown around the world in a week to be involved in the two legged play-off with Uruguay.

They also have worries over Simon Davies' hamstring, while Duncan Ferguson only returned to training today after a stomach upset. Everton are still without long-term injury victims Alessandro Pistone, Gary Naysmith, Lee Carsley, Nuno Valente and Matteo Ferrari.

West Brom squad: Kuszczak, Watson, Davies, Clement, Albrechtsen, Greening, Wallwork, Inamoto, Kamara, Horsfield, Ellington, Earnshaw, Kanu, Hoult, Scimeca, Moore, Carter.

Everton squad: Martyn, Hibbert, Weir, Yobo, Kroldrup, Neville, Arteta, Cahill, Davies, Kilbane, Van der Meyde, McFadden, Beattie, Ferguson, Bent, Wright, Osman.
