Hammers lose Reo-Coker for six weeks

West Ham have confirmed England Under-21 captain Nigel Reo-Coker is out of action for six weeks with an ankle injury.

The former MK Dons midfielder suffered the injury against West Brom recently and after a CT scan, it was confirmed Reo-Coker has a small crack in his ankle bone which is likely to keep him out of action until the start of the Christmas fixture programme.

Goalkeeper Roy Carroll, though, has returned to training and is expected to be available to play Tottenham on Sunday.
