Thierry Henry is set to return to Arsenal's side for tonight’s Champions League clash against Sparta Prague after being rested for the weekend draw at Tottenham.
Henry, who returned from a lengthy lay-off for the away tie in Prague, was kept out of the clash at White Hart Lane to rest his groin but will return at Highbury.
Arsene Wenger revealed: “We tested Thierry quite severely in training on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and the response is okay. If there was the slightest risk, I wouldn't take it but I feel that I will start him tomorrow.”
Freddie Ljungberg is nevertheless ruled out of tomorrow's game with a hamstring injury, even though he could return for Saturday's game against Sunderland, while Ashley Cole and Alexander Hleb are long-term absentees.
Provisional squad: Lehmann, Almunia, Lauren, Eboue, Clichy, Campbell, Toure, Cygan, Senderos, Gilberto, Fabregas, Flamini, Song, Pires, Reyes, van Persie, Henry, Bergkamp, Owusu-Abeyie.
