Mark Farren hit a double to make it 15 league goals for the season as Derry twice came from behind to go top of the table by beating Bohemians 3-2, stretching their unbeaten run to 20 games.

Bohemians, whose hopes of European football appear to be slipping away, started brightly but fell behind on 26 minutes when Farren shot home with the help of a deflection.

However, the Gypsies kept their heds and were deservedly level on 38 minutes, when Tony Grant’s shot came down off the bar and Stephen Ward blasted the loose ball to the net.

Ward then restored Bohemians' lead on the hour.

But Derry hit back to level through Gareth McGlynn six minutes later before Farren hit the winner, heading home Alan Murphy’s cross with five minutes to play, sending the Candystripes to the top of the league.
