Cork City manager Damien Richardson will miss his team’s trip to Prague for Thursday’s UEFA Cup game with Slavia having being diagnosed with a lung problem.
Richardson has been detained in hospital and was not present for last night’s 3-0 eircom League win over Bray Wanderers at Turner’s Cross.
The club reported that the 58-year-old will be out of action for a week
Thursday’s first round, first leg tie with Slavia is live on RTÉ 2 television, kick off 7.00pm.
