Rovers take Dublin derby

Two stunning second half goals from Trevor Molloy and Lee Roche earned 10-man Rovers a rousing win 3-1 win over Bohemians in a cracking Dublin derby.

Ex-Rovers striker Tony Grant availed of a defensive error to put Bohs in front on 11 minutes.

But Rovers levelled on 23 minutes when substitute Tony Sheridan scored with his first touch from Molloy’s cross.

Rovers had Ketih Doyle sent-off for a bad challenge on Stephen Rice on 55 minutes.

But Skipper Molloy scored a stunner to put Rovers in front on 71 minutes before substitute Roche added the third four minutes from time.
