Limerick FC, who are currently joint third in the eircom League First Division, have added two players to their squad as they attempt to  make a push for promotion to the top tier of domestic soccer.

Ex Hajduk Split and Croatian U-21 international Darko Bakic put pen to paper with the Blues until the end of the season while St Pat's Paul Rose has signed with Noel O'Connor's side until the conclusion of the 2006 term.

Left sided midfielder Bakic, who spent two years with Split,  agreed terms with the club yesterday and Limerick have the option of signing him for another two seasons after this term
expires.

The double swoop comes 24 hours after Lims secured the services of ex-Leeds United striker Chris Jones and a week after former Aston Villa ace John McGrath penned deals with the club.
