Cork City played out an unwelcome 0-0 draw against eircom League Premier Division basement side Finn Harps in this FAI Cup third round clash at Turners Cross tonight.

The league leaders, who face a trip to Prague in the UEFA Cup and 11 crucial league games, must now endure a cup replay in Ballybofey next Saturday night, after they failed to break down a stubborn Harps defence.

Cork did have the ball in the net after 26 minutes, but Neale Fenn's effort was ruled out for offside.

Despite Damien Richardson's team dominating throughout, Harps' goalkeeper Gavin Cullen denied their best chances.

George O'Callaghan had a second-half free-kick tipped around a post, before he was denied again when Cullen blocked a shot from the edge of the six-yard box.

The Donegal men did create one counter-attacking chance when Stephen Capper's shot was deflected for a corner, with eight minutes remaining.
