Early kick-off for Cork City

Cork City’s UEFA Cup, first round, second leg tie against Czech side Slavia Prague on 29 September will take place earlier in the day than is normal for home games due the nature of the floodlighting system at Turner’s Cross.

Corkcityfc.ie report that because the floodlights are not up to UEFA Cup first round standard, the game will kick off in daylight/sunlight hours.

As the tie is the second leg, there is also the possibility of extra time and penalties that must be factored in.

The first leg takes place in Prague on 15 September.
