Drogheda United should find out today if their FAI Cup clash with Dundalk will go ahead as planned at Oriel Park on Friday night.
Dundalk are in a race against time to lay their new artificial pitch for the clash and have been told that the tie will be switched to Drogheda's United Park, if it is not ready for training this week.
Drogs hope to train on the new surface on Monday and Wednesday.
The eircom League Premier Division side have yet to receive confirmation from their fellow countymen on the matter.
