Inter reverse withdrawal decision

Inter Milan are currently on their way to England after reversing their decision to withdraw from a four-match pre-season tour.

The Italian giants were scheduled to play Leicester, Portsmouth, Norwich and Crystal Palace but cancelled the tour yesterday citing security fears following the bombing incidents in London.

However, Inter have described the furore since the withdrawal as a misunderstanding  and revealed owner Massimo Moratti is discussing the  possibility of finding a positive solution to the matter  with club president Giacinto Facchetti and head coach Roberto Mancini.

English sports minister Richard Caborn, who stepped in yesterday and held talks with his Italian counterpart, revealed Italian football's governing body convinced Inter to travel to England.
