Irish striker Robbie Keane scored a brace for Spurs in their 3-1 friendly win in South Korea last night.

Fredi Kanoute was also on target in their friendly win against South African side Sundowns in the Peace Cup clash in Suwon.

Keane scored the opener 10 minutes before the break when Tom Huddlestone sent him through to round the keeper and finish.

Kanoute added the second just after the break when Wayne Routledge's drive was parried by the goalkeeper, and Keane smashed in a third six minutes later.

However, Keane chances of a regular start could be scuppered by Tottenham's decision to enter the race to sign Julio Baptista after Sevilla today claimed they have received a bid of more than £13.8million for the forward.

Baptista, the 23-year-old Brazil international, has been linked with a move to Arsenal but Sevilla revealed Spurs have tabled the most expensive bid for the player, who is under contract at the club until 2006.

"The most important offer that we have received is that of Tottenham, of more than €20million," said a statement on the club's official website, www.sevillafc.es.
