Athlone Town will play a friendly against Coca Cola Championship side Coventry City this Tuesday night in Golden Island Park.
Micky Adams brings his side to Athlone following a 3 - 2 defeat to QPR in the Copa de Ibiza Cup final during the week, as they prepare for the new season.
Caretaker boss Paddy O'Reilly is looking forward to the game:"The players deserve it. With being out of all the cup competitions and a big gap between ourselves and the
top in the League, I think the efforts and the attitudes of the players deserve it."
