The ex-Irish U-21 international said: "I would love to line out for Limerick on Monday night but it all depends on whether I am offered a contract over the next few days."
"I would like to thank Limerick FC Chairman Danny Drew for inviting me over but at this point I will have to wait until Sunday to know where I stand", he added.
Meanwhile the Blues will be hoping to reverse a two match losing streak when they meet Kildare County at Hogan Park tonight.
New signing Brendan Sweeney is expected to line out for the Shannonsiders.
