Liverpool striker Milan Baros has admitted tomorrow's Champions League final could represent his last game in the famous red shirt.

The Czech forward could be dropped for the game following revelations that his agent, Pavel Paska, has been in talks with other clubs over a move at the end of the season.

Baros told the Daily Mirror: "I have had several offers from other clubs and it is now the job of my agent Pavel to talk to them.

"I am calm about my future and I can concentrate fully on the Champions League final.

Baros, who has failed to recreate his fine international form for the Czech Republic during his time at Anfield, said it is still possible that he will remain at Anfield, but a lot will depend on what the Reds are prepared to offer him.

For the moment, though, tomorrow night's match is the forward's top priority.

"But my main aim at the moment is that I can keep my place ahead of (Djibril) Cisse for the final against Milan, and I will do my best to make that happen."

Benitez deserves to win in Europe says Alonso

Xabi Alonso believes Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez deserves to be crowned as a European champion.

Benitez can emulate the achievement of Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho tomorrow night and win the UEFA Cup and Champions League in successive seasons if his team can upset the odds and beat AC Milan in Istanbul.

The 23-year-old midfielder, signed by Benitez from Real Sociedad, told his club's official website: "I dream of winning in Istanbul with me scoring. And that will mean Rafa Benitez wins the tournament."

The Spaniard, who is noted for the crispness and accuracy of his passing, added: "He deserves it - he is already a winner. People love him. He thinks about games a lot and he has shown that with his European success. He knows exactly how to win."

Alonso believes Liverpool's style of play gives them the opportunity to take on any team in Europe, in stark contrast to their struggle to finish fifth in the Barclays Premiership.

"We're stronger in Europe than in the Premiership which is difficult to explain. I feel we can beat anyone.

"What is happening at Liverpool is a huge adventure and I was ready for this change in culture.

"Many teams in England still play the long ball but little by little coaches are placing more emphasis on the pause and the pass. Knowing how to vary the pace of the match."

The Spanish international hopes the Reds can develop their own distinctive style of play, much like Arsenal have done under Arsene Wenger. If they manage to succeed, Alonso believes the Anfield side will become a difficult outfit to topple.
