Manchester City midfielder Shaun Wright-Phillips insists that he wants to stay with the Eastlands outfit, despite the fact that they missed out on a place in Europe yesterday.
A missed injury-time penalty from Robbie Fowler saw Middlebrough claim the final UEFA Cup place at the expense of City, after a 1-1 draw at Eastlands.
However, City fans were given something to cheer about today when Wright-Phillips confirmed that he wants to stay with City, despite the interest in him from Arsenal.
"I signed a four-year contract last August and when I signed it was with the intention of staying with the club," said the £20million-rated England international.
"That is where I want to be and until my contract runs out I am not thinking of moving. It is my home. The fans have really taken to me and I think that is because I have come through the ranks."
"I came here when I was 16 and went from the youth team to the first team and the fans supported me all the way. I am settled here," he added.
