Athlone Town boss Stephen Kelly is in positive mood ahead of tonight's visit to Kilkenny City in the eircom League First Division.
He said: "We have a few very tough games over the next weeks and a few good results are needed to lift the spirits of all involved in the club. That is the aim. The return of Danny O'Leary was a few weeks ahead of schedule and that was one of the few positives in Kildare. The first start for Gavin Doyle was another."
"The squad to a man must stand up and be counted over the next few games in order to push our way back up the table."
Eric Molloy pulled a hamstring in training and will have to rest for a week or so.
