Alex Ferguson has again bemoaned the fact that his Manchester United side must make the trip to the Millennium Stadium for their FA Cup semi-final with Newcastle.

The Manchester United boss has previously hinted Arsenal were behind the decision to play both this weekend's last four ties in Cardiff - in what looked liked yet another effort on his behelf to mentally unsettle the Gunners.

However, both the FA and Gunners chairman Peter Hill-Wood have insisted that was not the case with Hill-Wood accusing Ferguson of being `ill-informed'.

But while the Scot decided against fuelling the debate by launching yet another attack on the Highbury outfit, he again claimed that United are suffering.

"The Millennium Stadium is a good location for a final but I am not necessarily sure we should be playing semi-finals there," he said.

"We have made the point about it being unfair for the fans to travel so far but there should always be the thought about the final being the final."

"The attraction of getting to a stadium by reaching a final should be paramount and nothing should take the gloss off that. Unfortunately, in this situation, that is not the case," he added.
