Midfielder Wesley Boyle scored a brilliant late equaliser to cap a six-goal thriller as his Portadown side stole a draw with Shelbourne in their opening game in Group 2 of the Setanta Cup.
Richie Baker put Shels in front, stooping to head home David Crawley's free-kick on 39 minutes.
Baker then set up Jason Byrne to double Shels’ lead with a stunning goal a minute before half-time.
But Ports hit back on the resumption with Gary Hamilton pulling a goal back on 50 minutes and then levelling ten minutes later.
Baker scored his second of the night on 69 minutes, but Shels threw away their lead again as a poor clearance set up Boyle to score a stunning 84th minute equaliser to stun the Tolka Park faithful into silence.
