Athlone Town have announced a major sponsorship deal with the Golden Island Shopping Centre.
The deal will run for the forthcoming 2005 eircom League season and will see Athlone Town's home ground St Mel's Park become known as Golden Island Park.
The Club will make a further sponsorship announcement in the coming days.
Athlone Town Chairman Ken Bryan said: "We are delighted to be able to announce this sponsorship deal with Golden Island Shopping Centre, the Midlands' Premier Shopping Venue."
Work on Athlone's new ground on the edge of the town is ongoing.
