Ireland's U-19 team suffered their second defeat in as many days as they went down 2-1 to Denmark in their third and final game in the La Manga Tournament in Spain this afternoon.

Sean McCaffrey's men, who suffered a 3-0 loss to the Czech Republic yesterday, suffered an early setback when UCD's Gary Dicker conceded an own goal in the first half and they trailed 1- 0 at the break.

The sides were level at 1-1 in the 64th minute, also through an own goal, but two minutes later the Danes went ahead again and held out for the victory in the final quarter.
