Rangers moved to the top of the Bank of Scotland Premier League with a 3-0 win over Livingston at Ibrox.

New signing Sotirios Kyrgiakos put the ball over the last defender for Dado Prso to control before slotting past Roddy McKenzie for Rangers' opener on 14 minutes.

Fernando Ricksen's blasted a free-kick past the wall and into the top corner to make it 2-0 in the 64th minute. And within four minutes Novo had made it 3-0, diverting a Buffel volley past McKenzie with an outstretched boot.

Elswhere in the SPL, Dundee United and Dundee drew 2-2. Stuart Duff and Jim McIntyre scored for United, while Tom McManus and Steve Lovell scored for the visitors.

Hearts defeated Aberdeen 1-0 thanks to a 63rd-minute penalty from Dennis Wyness.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle player-manager Craig Brewster sealed their 2-0 victory with a goal against his former club Dunfermline after Barry Wilson netted the opener.

Motherwell's match against Hibernian was postponed.
