Eircom League champions Shelbourne have been paired with Cork City and Portadown in group 2 of the new all Ireland Setanta Cup competition.
FAI Cup winners Longford Town have been draw in group 1 along with Irish League sides Glentoran and Linfield.
The draw for the group stage of the new competition was made by Pat Jennings and Packie Bonner at the Bru na Boinne visitor centre in Donore, Co Louth.
The first match in group 1 sees Glentoran play host to Longford on Tuesday March 15 while the action in group two starts on Tuesday March 22 when Shelbourne entertain Portadown. The final will take place on Saturday May 21.
