Moore questioned after racial incident

Former Rangers captain Craig Moore has been questioned by police after being accused of racially abusing a taxi driver.

The footballer is accused of directing racial insults at the 35-year-old Asian driver in the early hours of New Year's Day in Glasgow.

The incident is said to have happened while the player was waiting in a taxi queue in the city centre.

The 29-year-old, who yesterday moved to German club Borussia Monchengladbach, allegedly made the comments in Royal Exchange Court, near Queen Street station.
