Former England midfielder Paul Gascoigne is in hospital suffering from pneumonia - but his agent has confirmed that he is not seriously ill.
The 37-year-old went to a London hospital on New Year's Eve, where he is expected to stay for several days.
Gascoigne was recently linked with a move to Australia in attempt to revive his football career, by taking up a top coaching role at the Newcastle Jets.
Gascoigne resigned as player-coach of League Two side Boston United in October but has professed his desire to pursue a career in coaching.
