Arsenal have Ashley Cole back from suspension for the clash with Newcastle at St James' Park tomorrow night, while Patrick Kluivert is out for the home side.
Cole missed the win over Fulham on Boxing Day but is added to Arsene Wenger's squad, which could also include fit-again Edu. Jose Antonio Reyes is making good progress from his knee injury and should be back for Arsenal's clash with Charlton on New Year's Day.
Newcastle striker Kluivert is out after aggravating a hamstring injury during the 2-2 draw at Blackburn on Boxing Day and manager Graeme Souness is facing a new selection headache up front. Shola Ameobi is struggling to shake off a shoulder problem and skipper Alan Shearer still on the sidelines, although back in training, with his thigh strain.
Lee Bowyer is available after serving a one-match ban and Kieron Dyer is expected to recover from a knock to his knee picked up at Ewood Park, but Stephen Carr (knee), Nicky Butt, Ronny Johnsen and Darren Ambrose (all hamstring) are still out.
