Aston Villa and Birmingham will not face any further punishment for the brawl at Villa Park on Sunday.
Football Association officials consulted referee Steve Dunn over the incident sparked by Damien Johnson's tackle on Gareth Barry.
Johnson and Villa centre-back Olof Mellberg were booked after the resulting melee involving around 15 players.
“After due consideration, the FA will not be taking any further disciplinary action”, said the FA today.
Birmingham went on to record another victory over their midland rivals with goals from Clinton Morrison and David Dunn ensuring all three points for the Blues.
