Poland have held France to a fourth consecutive home draw at the Stade de France tonight.
The result, the third consecutive 0-0 in Paris after World Cup stalemates against Israel and Ireland, brought a disappointing year to a low-key close for the former World and European champions.
France dominated for most of the match but Poland goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek produced a series of heroic saves to deny Les Bleus their first success in front of their home crowd since coach Raymond Domenech took over in July.
The best chance came just before half-time when substitute Sidney Govou headed against a post.
