Norwich clambered off the foot of the Premiership table but remain without a top flight win after a pulsating draw with Manchester City at Eastlands.
Damien Francis struck just 15 seconds into the second half to earn the Canaries a precious point after Ireland's Willo Flood had capped an outstanding first league start by firing City into an early lead.
Flood also blasted against the inside of a post as City pushed for a winner but the hosts were left cursing their luck at the end as referee Steve Bennett waved away two plausible penalty claims.
