Manchester United captain Roy Keane is to stand trial for charges relating to the alleged assault of a 16-year-old boy.
Keane, who denies assaulting the teenager outside his home, will have to appear at the end of February, at Trafford Magistrates Court, following a pre-trial review today.
The Irish international midfielder, who was excused from today's hearing, had his bail extended.
The 33-year-old is alleged to have clashed with the youth near his mansion in the wealthy Manchester suburb of Hale, on Saturday, September 4.
Keane was reportedly walking his dog close to Hale Golf Course when he got into a row with the teenager from Baguley, Manchester. The Cork man is also facing a charge of criminal damage after the youth's gold chain was allegedly broken during the incident.
