Paul Doolin has signed a new two-year deal with eircom Premier Division side Drogheda United, keeping him at the Boyneside club until November 2006.
The 39-year-old said of the announcement: "I'm delighted with the way things have turned out. The present set-up and the club's plans for the future are top class."
The sentiments mirror the words spoken by Doolin just 11 months ago at his unveiling as United boss. The Dubliner ended a successful 2-and-a-half seasons at UCD to venture north to County Louth.
Drogheda can go top of the league standings if they produce a 3-0 victory against Shamrock Rovers tomorrow night at United Park.
