3,500 tickets have been held back to go on sale tomorrow, match day, at Tolka Park for the crucial Champions League qualifier second leg tie between Shelbourne and Hajduk Split.
Shelbourne FC chief executive Ollie Byrne said today: "Judging from the non-stop phone calls we've had, there seems to be a misconception that the match has already sold out.
"Tickets are still available from Ticketmaster and Tolka Park and we are holding back 3,500 tickets for sale at the gates in order that the real fans will not be disappointed. We also have an earlier kick-off time of 7pm."
